Ryan Ramczyk
30-Year-Old
Questionable
Injury Knee
Est. Return 8/1/2024
Timeline for return still murky
Ramczyk (knee) won't be ready until at least training camp, head coach Dennis Allen said last week, John DeShazler of the Saints' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Ramczyk missed the team's final four games of the 2023 campaign, and his status for the 2024 season remains up in the air. Allen stated Wednesday, "We're still waiting to see where he is -- when we get probably to training camp will be the first time that we would even potentially see him." In his absence, Trevor Penning saw work with the first team at right tackle during OTAs.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
NFL future uncertain
Ramczyk's ongoing knee issues have put his NFL future in question, Katherine Terrell of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
The 29-year-old offensive tackle has a cartilage defect in his left knee that leaves him with limited surgical options to repair an issue that has been affecting him all season. "I don't know," Ramczyk said last week about a possible fix. "I think those are the discussions we are going to have, that need to be had, and we'll go from there. ... I'll talk with surgeons, doctors, get as much as information as I can and then just make the best decision." Ramczyk has played only 12 games this season and was placed on injured reserve over the weekend, leaving his availability for a potential playoff run by the Saints in doubt.
