This week's set of risers includes 19-year-old Stars center Wyatt Johnston, who hasn't slowed down in the second half of his rookie season.

Olofsson is not expected to re-sign with the Sabres ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports Wednesday.
ANALYSIS
After recording three 40-point campaigns over four seasons with the Sabres from 2019-20 through 2022-23, Olofsson logged just 51 games with the team this year and finished with 15 points -- his lowest offensive output in the NHL since recording two goals and two assists across six appearances in 2018-19. As such, seeing the two sides parting ways this offseason shouldn't be a surprise. If the 28-year-old winger can find a new home with a top-six role available, he could get back to being a 20-goal, 40-point producer.

Olofsson continued to be one of Buffalo's more important players a season ago, posting exactly 20 goals for the second time in three years while also finishing with a career-high 49 points. He managed these numbers despite a significantly decreased role with the man advantage, seeing 44 seconds less of power-play time per game compared to 2020-21. Olofsson, who will play this entire season at age 27, was rewarded with a two-year, $9.5 million contract extension this offseason. He's a candidate for increased production if the Sabres take a step forward as a team as many are projecting.
